It's Burger Thyme

Today is National Burger Day, arguably the best day of the year. It’s a time to gather friends and family close to celebrate not just the wonder and rich history of the burger patty, but the bun, the toppings, the condiments, even the cheese. It’s a day to tell stories about the burgers that changed our lives, about the proud times where we ate what we thought we couldn’t, and the times where we buckled under the weight of creations too massive to comprehend. 

We couldn’t help but feel inspired to make some burgers at the office today, and we couldn’t help but share our creations with you all.

Here’s what we came up with, using the best of our stocks of deliciously decadent Beef, Lamb, Black Bean, and Kale & Quinoa burgers:

  

American Burger served with Beer Battered Chips

Ingredients

  • Beef Burgers from Thyme 
  • Mature Cheddar Cheese
  • Bacon
  • Butter Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Red Onion
  • Gherkins
  • Ketchup
  • Yellow Mustard
  • Spicy Mayo (a mix of shallot, dried garlic, chilli flakes, parsley, and mayonnaise)

 

 

 

Spicy Lamb Burger Served with Onion Rings

Ingredients

  • Lamb Burger from Thyme
  • Lambs Lettuce
  • Harissa Mayo (a 1 to 1 ratio of mayonnaise to harissa)
  • Grilled Halloumi
  • Sun-Dried Tomato

 

Black-Eyed Bean Burger Served with Mixed Root Vegetable Fries
